Pro Line Floor Model Platelet Incubators and Agitators are designed for safe and efficient platelet storage while supporting blood bank compliance. These systems combine innovations in performance, reliability, and energy efficiency to optimize the storage of life-saving platelet products.

 

The incubators provide a continuous operating temperature of 22 °C with temperature uniformity of ±1 °C, ensuring a stable storage environment. Innovations within the Helmer Scientific Pro Line help keep platelet supplies safe and ready for use.

 

The i.Center® Plus Information Center provides constant temperature monitoring and control, password-protected settings, graphs, and enhanced reporting functionality. All device status information is available in one centralized location, allowing users to quickly assess system performance. Intuitive messages and prompts simplify parameter setup, performance tracking, and data downloads. Preventive maintenance tasks, including alarm testing and calibration, are streamlined, and reports and logs are available on demand.

 

The AgiTrak™ Agitation Performance Monitoring System, integrated with i.Center® Plus, monitors agitation performance, alarm conditions, and diagnostics to ensure continuous platelet agitation in support of AABB compliance. Live status monitoring provides real-time speed, cycle count, and performance data to help maintain optimized platelet storage.

 

The incubators feature OptiCool™ RT Cooling Technology, combining a Variable Capacity Compressor (VCC), natural hydrocarbon (HC) refrigerants, and pulse heating. Intelligent sensors monitor operating conditions: when the incubator door is opened, the compressor runs at a higher speed to maintain temperature performance; once stabilized, it operates at a lower speed to reduce energy consumption. Pulse heating cycles on and off to maintain the correct temperature range.
