Kit for detection of Aspergillus

Kit for detection of Aspergillus is an in vitro diagnostic real-time PCR test for the detection and differentiation of Aspergillus fumigatus, Aspergillus flavus, Aspergillus terreus, Aspergillus niger, and Aspergillus nidulans.

 

It targets the internal transcribed spacer 2 (ITS2-region) of Aspergillus. Analysis is performed with two assay mixes in parallel PCR reactions, allowing differentiation of individual species. An Internal Positive Control (IPC) serves as both DNA extraction and PCR inhibition control.
